Frequently Asked Questions: Home Cleaning in Derby

 

Q. Can I specify a day / date that is suitable for my Spring Clean?

A. Yes, however your spring clean is based on cleaner availability.

 

Q. How many hours will the cleaner be available?

A. The cleaner will usually provide up to 6 hours domestic cleaning.

Q. Do you provide insurance?

A. We provide £2 million Public Liability insurance which covers you for any damage that the cleaner causes to property or persons whilst cleaning within your home. £100 excess applies. Cover for bleach damage is excluded.

 

Q. What work will be undertaken?

A. Cleaners registered with Time For You Domestic Cleaning will undertake any work that is agreed with the client as long as it can be termed home cleaning and as long as the required tasks are safe and inside the property.

 

Q. What if the cleaner has not finished?

A. You may book the cleaner again if required. Please bear in mind that cleaners are only human and there are only so many hours that they can work. Each house is different in terms of size, the level of cleaning required and the grade of difficulty. Therefore each client is requested to be realistic as to what can be achieved in relation to time and the property’s requirement.

 

Q. Do you provide the products?

A. The client provides all of the products and equipment (hoover, mop, etc). This keeps the cost lower for the client as you will not be paying a mark-up on products provided by us and this also prevents the spread of bacteria between homes.

 

Q. My house is empty, therefore I do not have any products or equipment available.

A. There will be an additional charge if the cleaner has to provide products. Please note you will not be covered on our insurance for damage caused by the cleaning products/equipment if the cleaner provides her own products/equipment.

 

Q. After my spring clean, can I have a regular weekly clean to maintain the cleanliness of my home?

A. Yes, we can arrange for a regular weekly clean with your own dedicated cleaner. If you sign up for a regular weekly clean at the same time or within 2 weeks of the spring/one-off clean, we will discount your first Business Fee payment by 15%.
